At Paramount Services, we''re looking for an experienced Journeyperson Electrician who enjoys solving problems, working independently, and taking pride in quality workmanship.

Our commercial and industrial service team tackles a wide variety of projects throughout Winnipegfrom troubleshooting and emergency repairs to electrical upgrades, tenant improvements, equipment installations, and specialty systems.

What You''ll Do: Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in commercial and industrial facilities.

Complete service calls, repairs, upgrades, installations, and preventative maintenance.

Install and modify electrical systems, equipment, and controls.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

Plan and complete service work independently while maintaining high quality standards.

Coordinate with other skilled trades on multi-discipline projects.

Build positive relationships with customers through professional service.

Participate in a rotating on-call schedule (approximately one week every 56 weeks).

What We''re Looking For: Journeyperson Electrician certification.

Commercial and industrial service experience.

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.

Ability to work independently and manage service work efficiently.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Valid Class 5 driver''s licence with a clean driving record.

Personal hand tools.

Ability to lift 50 lbs and work safely in a variety of commercial environments.

Bonus Qualifications: Experience with any of the following is considered an asset: Commercial kitchens and foodservice equipment.





Motor controls and specialty electrical systems.

Mechanical equipment troubleshooting.

Building maintenance and service environments.

Lift equipment, fall protection, or other industry certifications.
