Responsibilities Supplier Quality Management: Conduct supplier audits and validate manufacturing processes through First Article Inspections (FAI), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and quality metrics (e.g., defect rates, Cp/Cpk).

Perform root cause analysis to resolve supplier non-conformances, leading and closing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) efficiently to prevent recurring issues.

Ensure supplier compliance withcompanies quality standards and collaborate with suppliers to align with manufacturing requirements.

Monitor supplier part quality throughout the product lifecycle, recommending corrective actions as needed. BOM Management (BOM Master) Create, update, and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) in ERP/PLM systems (e.g., Microsoft Business Central, Arena PLM), ensuring alignment between engineering BOMs and manufacturing BOMs Collaborate on Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) impacting BOMs, coordinating with engineering and suppliers to implement running/breaking changes and update Production Orders.

Validate supplier component specifications to ensure BOM accuracy and compatibility with production needs. NPI and Process Optimization: Collaborate on NPI ramp-up process at contract manufacturer sites, including training, maintaining issue logs, and tracking issues to resolution.

Collaborate with contract manufacturers to map and optimize manufacturing process flows, takt times, and error-proofing (poka-yoke) techniques to ensure manufacturability.





Standardize quality, BOM, and manufacturing workflows between suppliers, contract manufacturers, and internal teams for consistency and scalability.

Develop basic tools (e.g., compatibility matrices, production tracking logs) to monitor supplier parts and production throughput.

Documentation and Continuous Improvement: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process maps.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives targeting quality enhancement, waste elimination, and lead-time reduction, using tools like Lean or Six Sigma principles.

Monitor production throughput and quality metrics, reporting findings to the Manufacturing Lead and proposing actionable improvements.

About you Bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience and proven ability. 5+ years experience working with electromechanical products; quality management experience is an asset.

Strong project management skills with the ability to structure and execute initiatives.

Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment; excellent collaboration and teamwork skills.

Solid technical writing skills; ability to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely.

Familiarity with SPC (Statistical Process Control) and data analysis.

The given salary range is between $80,000 - $110,000 depending on experience and skills.
