Responsibilities Ensure the Mill activities meet or exceed established mill standards; Ensure the all equipment and consumables are maintained to established standards; Ensure effective utilization of the operations workforce; Manage the crews training program; Participate in the annual budget process and control costs in the department; Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities in the departments; Ensure continuous improvement towards current best practices; Lead root cause analysis of issues and their elimination in area of responsibility; Comply with Health & Safety and setting standards; Other duties as assigned.
Ensure that operations activities meet or exceed established mill standards; Qualifications Must Speak French Proven track record in a Mill and or Pulp industry with 3-5 years of experience in a similar role; Previous Mill experience would be considered an asset; Experience working in a unionized environment considered an asset.
Minimum of 2 years post-secondary education.
Preference will be given to those with a Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or Technical background;
