Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Job Description Position: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Dayshift/Afternoon shift Payrate: after 3 months probation Location: Richmond Hill, ON Our client is a manufacturer of beverages (juices etc.) They are looking to add to their production team. POSITION OVERVIEW This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of Tetra Pak plant equipment.

In addition, this position would be expected to maintain parts inventory and order parts as necessary. PRINCIPAL DUTIES Handling troubleshooting and repair work of the Filling Machine & Downstream Equipment.

Performing Preventive Maintenance as per Plan & Manufacturing schedule.

If any spare parts are not available, report to the Maintenance Manager and Operations Director and order parts as necessary.

Following Maintenance requests and completion of the same.

Monitoring of performance after any maintenance.

Service of the spare parts removed for service as per the instruction of the Supervisor.

Take a proactive approach to ensuring the smooth operation of the Filling Machine & Downstream equipment.

Any other duties assigned by the Maintenance Manager/Operations Director.





Education and Experience Legally permitted to work in Canada. 2 years experience in Aseptic Filling Lines Maintenance in Tetra Pak preferred or 4+ years in a similar industry.

Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or similar.

Full Canadian drivers license.

Knowledge of the health and safety system.

Familiar with electrical code, maintenance and installation of electrical equipment, and PLC.

Skills and Characteristics Available for all shifts (Morning & Afternoon) Computer skills; Mid-level proficiency in MS Word, Excel and email.

Takes initiative to ensure maintenance-related duties are completed.

Able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.

Able to problem-solve and manage changing priorities.

Comfortable repairing, installing, and maintaining electromechanical components.

Demonstrated ability to take ownership of tasks and projects.
