This temporary, on-call role offers the chance to be an active member of your community while managing mail and parcels daily. You'll start your day by preparing deliveries at the depot and then engage in outdoor delivery. This position is a fantastic stepping stone toward permanent employment with Canada Post.
Key Responsibilities:
• Begin each shift by sorting deliveries at the depot
• Operate a postal vehicle to efficiently deliver items
• Engage with customers while delivering mail as required
• Return to the depot for unloading task completion
• Contribute positively to customer service experiences
Requirements:
• Requires a valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s license
• Must be capable of lifting heavy mail items
• Must be versatile and available for on-call duties
• Comfort working in all weather conditions
• Communication skills in English and/or French
