OCL Group Inc. is hiring a Journeyman Pipefitter for an outage beginning August 17. This role involves expert installation of piping systems and offers opportunities for mentorship.
As a part of OCL's dedicated team, you will utilize your Journeyman skills to read blueprints, install pipes and valves, and ensure adherence to industry standards. Your ability to troubleshoot and guide Apprentices will contribute to our mission of quality and safety in construction projects across Western Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
• Cut, measure, and install metal and plastic piping
• Diagnose and repair piping systems effectively
• Guide and mentor less experienced pipefitters
• Ensure a protected and organized work workplace
Requirements:
• Journeyperson Pipefitter Certification
• Experience in industrial settings
• Current safety tickets (CSTS, First Aid, etc.)
• Solid communication skills and independence
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada
