Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, common spaces, and hallways
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning as needed
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products to ensure readiness for residents or guests
- Handle waste disposal efficiently and responsibly in accordance with safety standards
- Follow established cleaning protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to supervisors for timely resolution
- Use commercial cleaning equipment safely and effectively to achieve high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
Skills
- Proven custodial experience with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and safety practices
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and products to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
