POSITION SUMMARY

ET Transport is seeking a skilled and motivated 310T Mechanic to join our team in Concord, ON. The ideal candidate will have a current 310T license and 1-2 years of relevant experience in heavy-duty or commercial vehicle maintenance. This role involves performing preventative and scheduled repairs on tractors and trailers, conducting vehicle inspections, and diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Must have 310T License
- Previous experience Truck Mechanic, Heavy Duty Mechanic, Transportation Fleet Mechanic, Maintenance Mechanic Commercial Vehicle Mechanic is preferred.
- Highly motivated individual and ability to work in a fast-paced work environment with shifting priorities and perform duties with little or no supervision.




- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
- Preventative and scheduled repairs on tractor and trailers.
- Perform Ministry of Transportation vehicle inspections as per Ministry guidelines
- Perform routine maintenance such as checking batteries, and lubricating equipment.
- Ability to diagnose, repair and maintain equipment (including electrical and pneumatic systems)
- Experience with Reefer and Heater units is an asset
- Ability to recognize additional maintenance and repair that needs to be performed.
- Basic computer skills and ability to annotate work orders in computerized maintenance management system.
- Follows safe work practices and maintains a clean workspace
- Must be willing to work outside in inclement weather.
- Good communication skills and work attitude.

Qualifications:

- Current 310T
- 1 to 2 years of experience and knowledge of shop practices.
- Ability to diagnose repair mechanical / electrical problems.
