In this senior engineering role, you will lead geotechnical investigations and project management, ensuring comprehensive evaluations across infrastructure, energy, and development projects. Your responsibilities will include preparing technical documentation and analysis of liquefaction, settlement, and excavation design. You'll mentor junior engineers and oversee field programs, ensuring compliance with QA/QC standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead investigations and designs for complex geotechnical projects
• Manage project lifecycle from inception to client engagement
• Analyze geotechnical challenges to enhance infrastructure safety
• Prepare and refine technical reports and construction docs
• Mentor engineers and supervise field investigations and QA/QC
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical, Geological, or Civil Engineering
• Minimum 8 years' experience in relevant engineering roles
• Skilled Engineer designation in British Columbia required
• Proven track record in project management and budgeting
• Solid skills in geotechnical software like Rocscience or GeoStudio
