Our energy and resources client is seeking a Senior Project Cost Control Analyst to manage cost governance using SAP, WBS, and AFE processes for turnaround projects Join a leading organization in the oil and gas sector overseeing complex turnaround cost control initiatives.

This role provides strategic oversight for budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and post-turnaround analysis across large capital projects.

The position offers exposure to senior leadership and high-impact decision support within a major operational program.

Contract, Calgary, 4 days Onsite, Working Hours: MST, occasional travel to Northern Alberta.

Must be able to work occasional evening and weekends as projects demand.

Must Haves 10+ years in project cost control within oil & gas owner operations Expertise in AFE , WBS , and CEST management aligned to project standards Proficiency in SAP cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting Experience with variance analysis , EVM ,



and key performance metrics Ability to work in a rapid pace and pivot as required Nice to Have Experience on turn around projects Familiarity with Prism and Share

Point tools Experience supporting automation or integration of cost control processes Responsibilities Act as primary contact for cost control on turnaround projects Develop and implement cost control strategies, processes, and tools aligned with organizational standards Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and variance reports Review and validate daily cost tracking, forecasts, and WBS structure Monitor purchase orders, contracts, and commitments to ensure budget compliance Identify and mitigate cost-related risks across project scopes and schedules Lead post-turnaround cost analysis and benchmarking to support future planning
