Smart Child Care Centre is looking for experienced, energetic & self-starters at Oakville - Iroquois location - whocan run a regular play-based toddler classroom if required.

Salary is $23.00 to $25.00/hour.A key requirement is experience and positive attitude to start a new program.

The teacher should enjoy being around children and have a tremendous ability to engage with children.

Employees get 35% discount on childcare services Beautiful & open facilities Explore Montessori and Play-based programs Roles and Responsibilities: Provide the children with a prepared environment which includes making materials to support the individual needs within the classroom; Plan individual and/or group activities to stimulate growth of the children in social, emotional, and academic areas; Instruct children in each area of the classroom: giving presentations and lessons in each area including Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Mathematics, and Culture; Allow children to be as independent as possible; Encourage individual work time to promote independence as well as group work to promote socialization; Identify, select, and modify work in the room to meet the needs of children with varying backgrounds, learning styles,

Qualification: Registered Early Childhood Educator designation (Required) At least 2 years of experience in a childcare environment.

Ability to work shifts (7:30am to 6:00pm) Standard First Aid CPR C+ Vulnerable Sector Check Immunization up to date (including a 2 step TB test) Job Type: Full-time Salary: $23.00 to $25.00/hour
