Help shape young minds at Wasauksing First Nation’s Little Eagle Child Care Centre as a Registered Early Childhood Educator. This role emphasizes a team-oriented approach in early childhood education within a licensed centre.
In this RECE position, you will create an engaging and secure learning environment that encourages independence and confidence. Your responsibilities include planning educational activities, supervising diverse play formats, and addressing developmental needs of children aged 6 months to 12 years. Working closely with families and external agencies, you will promote a holistic learning atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement age-appropriate learning experiences
• Oversee and guide children in a balanced activity schedule




• Assess developmental progress and maintain documentation
• Clean and maintain educational materials and equipment
• Engage with families and promote community programs
Requirements:
• Diploma in Early Childhood Education or similar qualification
• Prior experience in a licensed child care setting
• Knowledge of child development policies
• Current First Aid & CPR certification
• Robust organizational and communication abilities
Contribute to the nurturing and development of children in the Wasauksing community.
