Northern Credit Union is looking for a temporary (18-month contract) Communications and Community Investment Specialist. This role requires expertise in communications and community engagement, focusing on leading initiatives aligned with Northern's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to create meaningful relationships and measurable community impacts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement community investment initiatives and campaigns
• Create engaging content for digital platforms and print materials
• Coordinate and oversee fundraising, sponsorships,



and events
• Analyze results through key performance indicators and reports
• Represent Northern at community events and outreach activities
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Communications or related field
• Three years of experience in communications or community engagement
• Solid writing and project management skills
• Experience managing budgets and evaluating initiatives
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
