As the Materials Testing Lab Technician, you will report to the Project Manager and take on a variety of tasks related to testing and civil engineering. This position is ideal for candidates who thrive in a remote work setting, embracing a 2-week-on, 2-week-off rotation. You will be involved in quality control inspections and manage material quantities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct in office tests and data collection for materials
• Perform laboratory testing in compliance with standards
• Engage in civil construction inspections for quality assurance
• Oversee material quantity control through accurate measurements
• Carry out compaction tests using a nuclear densometer
Requirements:
• College diploma in relevant Engineering fields
• 5+ years of experience in civil construction or surveying
• Valid Class G driver’s license
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
