Reporting to the Environmental Services Manager, you will engage in various groundskeeping tasks, including landscape maintenance, furniture rearrangements, and snow clearing. Your efforts will ensure the university's exterior areas are protected and welcoming while managing waste and recycling materials responsibly. This physically active position requires working outdoors daily.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain cleanliness of all outdoor grounds
• Prepare and plant flower beds, trees, and shrubs
• Transparent snow and ice from walkways promptly




• Check grounds for safety and apply salt as needed
• Transport and set up furniture for campus events
Requirements:
• Relevant groundskeeping experience is essential
• Must hold a valid Class 5 Nova Scotia driver’s license
• Knowledge of operating landscaping machinery
• Ability to work independently and follow directions
• Physically fit, capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
