Monday to Thursday: 7:30am to 5pm
Friday: 7:30am to 12pm

Summer Friday afternoons off!

SALARY

$22 to $30 per hour, based on skills and experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the production team, you perform shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) on medium to heavy gauge steel.

Your day-to-day tasks:

- Stick (SMAW) welding according to plans and quality standards
- Selecting the right electrode and setting the machine (amperage, polarity) for the job
- Preparing and positioning parts before welding (cleaning and grinding joints)
- Welding in different positions: flat,



horizontal, vertical, overhead
- Removing slag and cleaning weld beads (chipping hammer, wire brush, grinder)
- Visually inspecting welds and making corrections
- Performing basic equipment maintenance
- Following health and safety protocols (protective equipment, fume extraction)

What we're looking for:
SMAW (stick welding) proficiency. Ability to read plans and welding symbols. Precision, attention to detail and autonomy. Your own basic tool set.

No diploma required. Your skill and precision are what count!
