We are looking for an energetic and detail oriented person to join our production team in Richmond, BC.

Reporting to Production Management, the Production Team Member is responsible for the timely and efficient processing of fruits, following food plant sanitation standards and operating procedures set forth by Sun Rich Fresh Foods Inc. To keep the fruit safe from bacteria, it is always necessary to keep the fruit cold. This requires that our Team Members work in the plant at 50 degrees F / 9 degrees Celsius. If there is work in the Cooler, it will be 36 degrees F / 2 degrees Celsius.

Responsibilities:

- Cleaning equipment and tables
- Lifting and moving pails of fruit – up to 40 lbs.
- Assembly Crew Helper
- Aid with daily requirement of production
- Assist with set-up for production.
- Housekeeping duties including removal of garbage, sweeping, and maintaining a clean work area.
- Communicate problems or changes in production/quality to the Supervisor, or Group/Team Lead
- Standing at a cutting table for long periods of time
- Peeling, scooping,



and cutting fruits; putting fruit into trays/pails; placing lids and seals on trays/pail; making cardboard boxes and putting labels on the boxes or plastic containers; and filling boxes with trays and containers.
- Understand and adhere to safety policies, procedures, and practices. Participate in scheduled safety training. Participate in monthly audits where applicable. Report unsafe acts and conditions to management.

Required Skills and Experience:

- Experience working in a food processing environment an asset.
- On the job training is provided to workers on how to clean, wash, sort, trim, peel, pack and operate equipment associated with kitting production.
- Ability to read and understand English
- Ability to count accurately, do simple math and write legibly.

Schedule:

- Shift days: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
- Start time: 6 A.M and 12 PM
- Off Days: Tuesday and Saturday (may vary depending on business needs)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.25 per hour
