Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice minimum 2 years of experience. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
- Take good dental radiographs intra-oral x-rays.
- Knowledgeable taking iTero scan, Digital impressions, Experienced making temporary crowns/bridges.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plan notes.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment options.
- Sterilize dental instruments and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office.
- Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure a high standard of care.
Skills
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and procedures.
- Knowledge of orthodontics and pediatrics is a plus.
- Experience with Dentrix software for patient management is preferred.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Ability to function effectively as a dental receptionist when needed.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members and work independently.
