Play a pivotal role in mentorship as an Enrolment and Intake Coordinator at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Halifax. This hybrid position focuses on building relationships with volunteers, children, and families.
As a key member of the Service Delivery team, you'll facilitate orientation sessions and guide volunteers through the enrolment process. Your work will also involve conducting interviews and assessments, managing participant waitlists, and ensuring all documentation is current and accurate.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate engaging Big Information & Orientation Sessions
• Guide volunteers through enrolment and onboarding
• Conduct interviews with participants
• Manage participant waitlists proactively
• connect families to community support resources
Requirements:
• Degree in Child & Youth Care, Social Work or related field
• Experience in community service settings
• Solid communication and relationship-building skills
• Excellent organizational abilities
• Proficiency in maintaining electronic records
