Join the Town of Wolfville as a full time Coordinator of Community Events and Engagement. Focus on planning, community engagement, and event delivery to enhance local wellbeing and involvement.
This permanent role reports to the Director of Community Wellbeing. The Coordinator will oversee event planning, community recreation, and promote resident-led activities. You will facilitate co-design programs and build robust relationships with residents and partners to support community wellbeing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and coordinate Town events effectively
• Deliver and evaluate community engagement strategies
• Support recreational activities and resident participation
• Strengthen partnerships for civic gatherings




• Implement clear processes for event management
Requirements:
• University degree in a related field
• Significant experience in event planning and community engagement
• Proven skills in program development and coordination
• Relational approach prioritizing trust and mutual benefits
• Robust communication and relationship-building abilities
