Make a meaningful impact as an RECE Educator with the YMCA of the National Capital Region. Support children's development with tailored programs in a supportive, community-focused setting.
In this role, you'll implement age-appropriate educational programs for children while promoting a protected and welcoming atmosphere. You'll use the Y Playing to Learn curriculum to address individual needs and foster critical skills in early childhood development. Collaborating with staff and communicating openly with families will be essential to ensure a positive experience for all.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create engaging and secure educational environments for children
• Implement the Y Playing to Learn curriculum effectively
• Foster self-esteem and problem-solving skills in young children
• Maintain open communication and collaboration with staff
• Prepare snacks and assist with housekeeping duties
Requirements:
• ECE diploma or CECE recognized equivalency preferred
• Minimum two years’ experience working with children
• Must be a registered RECE Educator
• Current Standard First Aid and CPR "C" certification
• Police Record check within the last 6 months
