AJAS is looking for a Bookkeeper who will manage financial operations in its Calgary office. Responsibilities include invoicing for accounts receivable, coding AP invoices, and maintaining the Capital Asset Continuity Schedule. Candidates should be well-versed in QuickBooks Online and possess robust Excel skills to communicate effectively with the finance lead.
Key Responsibilities:
• Code AP invoices and reconcile vendor statements
• Prepare AR invoices for multiple departments
• Conduct monthly credit card and GST account reconciliations
• Generate weekly journal entries from POS system reports
• Assist with payroll duties and audit preparations
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping experience
• Solid understanding of accounting principles
• QuickBooks Online, DEXT, and Excel proficiency
• Experience in arts or non-profit organizations preferred
• Solid analytical and data entry skills
