As a Developmental Arborist, you will collaborate closely with ISA Certified Arborists. Your responsibilities include tree pruning, removing dead limbs, and handling emergency tasks. This role fosters a sustainable and resilient urban setting, inviting those who cherish nature and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support tree maintenance tasks alongside certified arborists
• Undertake emergency storm-related tree work
• Perform traffic control during work assignments
• Operate tree care equipment including chainsaws
• Communicate effectively with citizens regarding tree care
Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 6 months experience in tree care
• Required certifications in tree maintenance and safety
• Class 5 driver's license with a City permit
• Robust skills in communication and customer service
