Southbridge Care Homes seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join their team in Port Hope. In this critical role, you will oversee nursing standards, assess residents, and develop care plans. You'll also guide nursing staff, participate in educational initiatives, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations to maintain excellence in resident care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer medications and assess resident health conditions
• Coordinate and evaluate nursing care plans for residents
• Train and supervise nursing and personal care staff




• Prepare the facility for RAI MDS assessments
• Assume leadership in the absence of the Director of Care
Requirements:
• Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Registration with the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario
• First Aid and BLS Certification
• Preferred managerial experience in long-term care
• Knowledge of health care practices and infection control
