Our client is seeking an experienced Shop Foreman to lead daily manufacturing operations in a custom production workplace. This hands‑on leadership role is responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement while supporting and developing the production team.
What You'll Do
Lead and coordinate daily production, scheduling, and workflow
Supervise, coach, and develop shop employees
Ensure quality standards, safety compliance, and on-time production
Manage inventory, purchasing, and production materials
Partner with engineering on custom projects and oversee equipment maintenance
Drive process improvements using ERP systems and lean manufacturing principles
What You'll Bring
Manufacturing leadership experience (steel wire or related industry preferred)
Robust mechanical troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
Experience with production scheduling, inventory, purchasing, and ERP systems
Proven ability to lead teams, improve processes, and meet production deadlines
Excellent communication and organizational skills
