**Job Description:**
**Department Overview**
Treasury Technology within TD Data is building a modern enterprise data platform on Microsoft Azure, leveraging technologies such as Databricks, ADLS, ADF, and Airflow to enable scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions.
**Role Overview:**
The QA III would be a senior role responsible for leading end-to-end quality engineering strategy and execution across the platform.

The role requires developing and leading test governance, automation strategy, and release quality, with a focus on driving enterprise-scale quality outcomes.

The successful candidate will leverage advanced automation and AI-driven testing approaches to improve platform stability, partner with senior stakeholders, and define metrics and KPIs to measure quality maturity and adoption.
**Key Accountabilities**
Lead and evolve QA strategy, standards, and governance across the platform
Design and implement scalable automation frameworks for data platforms
Drive integration of testing into CI/CD pipelines and release processes
Establish data quality validation and control frameworks
Define and oversee quality KPIs, reporting, and continuous improvement
Leverage AI/GenAI capabilities to enhance test coverage and efficiency
Provide leadership and direction across teams, influencing stakeholders and delivery outcomes
**Experience and/or Education**




BS degree in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline; or equivalent practical experience
Strong academic background (e.g., software engineering, computer science)
5-7 years of relevant experience
Preferred Certifications:
ISTQB Advanced (Test Manager / Automation)
Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
Microsoft Certified: Azure Dev

Ops Engineer Expert
Databricks Certified Data Engineer
Technical Expertise: Strong experience in test automation for cloud data platforms
Proficiency in: Python-based testing (PyTest, unittest)
Data quality tools (Great Expectations, dbt tests)
API testing (Postman / Rest

Assured)
Experience with Databricks, ADF pipelines, and Azure ecosystem
CI/CD and cloud-native testing practices
