Active Risk Mitigation Services (ARMS) Ltd. is seeking two professional, reliable, and detail-oriented Airfield Access Coordinator (AAC) to support a major construction project in Greenwood, Nova Scotia.

ARMS provides Medical, Safety, Security, and Emergency Response services to Mining, Wind Energy, and Major Construction Projects. Our personnel are trusted to protect people, assets, and operations in challenging environments where professionalism, accountability, and attention to detail are essential.

Position Overview

AAC will be responsible for controlling and monitoring access to a secured construction site. Successful candidates will ensure that only authorized personnel enter the work area, maintain accurate records of site activity, and support compliance with project security requirements.

This is a professional access control position requiring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Schedule

- Monday to Friday
- 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
- No evenings, nights, weekends, or rotating shifts

Key Responsibilities

- Control and monitor access to the construction site
- Verify that all personnel meet site access requirements before entry
- Verify identification, credentials, licences, and authorization documents
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all personnel entering and exiting the work area
- Enforce site security procedures and access control measures
- Communicate professionally with contractors, workers, visitors,



and project representatives
- Report incidents, security concerns, or unauthorized access attempts
- Support a protected, secure, and skilled work environment
- Represent ARMS in a professional and customer focused manner at all times

Mandatory Requirements

Applicants must possess all of the following:

- Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Resident
- Eligible to obtain and maintain Government of Canada Reliability Status Security Screening.
- Able to successfully complete fingerprint based security screening
- Valid Driver's License
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR Certification
- Professional appearance and conduct
- Ability to maintain accurate written records and logs
- Reliable transportation to and from the work site
- Preference will be given to applicants with:
- Military experience
- Construction site security experience
- Access-control experience
- Government contract experience
- Security Lisences
- Law enforcement, corrections, or emergency services experience
- Previous experience maintaining site access logs and visitor management systems

Compensation

- $19.50 to $22.00 per hour
- Full-time employment
- Stable daytime schedule
- Opportunity for future project assignments with ARMS(Mining, Wind Energy and Construction)
- Site Specific AAC training will be provided
