We are currently looking for an experienced Restaurant Supervisor eager to join our team of elite hospitality professionals who redefine luxury service and guest experience on a daily basis.

Job Duties:

Ensure a seamless and hospitable flow from the lobby into Bacchus Restaurant & Lounge, maintaining an exceptional guest arrival and seating experience.

Managing reservations on Tock

Managing Guest relations: responding to guest feedbacks and correspondence in timely and professional manner.

Act as an ambassador of the Wedgewood Hotel & Spa and Relais & Châteaux brands, exemplifying their standards of elegance, professionalism, and genuine hospitality.

Provide expert wine service to guests, including tableside recommendations,



wine pairing guidance, and decanting, ensuring the wine experience complements the cuisine and enhances the overall dining journey.

Maintain and manage the wine program, including inventory control, cellar organization, ordering, and working closely with suppliers to curate and update the wine list seasonally.

Train and mentor team members on wine knowledge, service techniques, and responsible beverage service (Serving It Right certification compliance).

Supervise restaurant ambience, including music, lighting, settings, décor, and overall presentation, ensuring all elements reflect the desired atmosphere and brand identity.

Be a visible and engaged presence on the floor, leading service during peak hours and ensuring smooth operations throughout the restaurant and bar.

Proactively seek guest feedback to continuously improve the dining and beverage experience, promptly addressing issues and ensuring satisfaction.

Conduct regular inspections to uphold cleanliness, maintenance, and safety standards in all dining and bar areas; promptly address any deficiencies.

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and liquor service regulations.

Other related duties and special projects as required to support the overall success of the Food & Beverage department and hotel operations.

Requirements

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a fine dining establishment




- Management/Supervisory experience an asset.
- Enjoys working within a team to achieve great results.
- Must be a prominent presence on the floor in Bacchus.
- Ability to supervise restaurant ambiance, music, lighting, settings, style and overall presentation.
- Maintain the highest level of service standards.
- Work closely with the Director of Food & Beverage, ensuring all inventory is maintained and documented accurately.
- Ensure a high standard of cleanliness, maintenance and presentation plus safety of the restaurant through inspections and ensures areas of deficiency are resolved to achieve service expectations.
- Ensure the overall smooth operation of the outlet, managing labor effectively, working on cost saving techniques, opening and closing responsibilities
- Excellent Food & Beverage knowledge.
- Wine Training (ISG or WSET) or experience an asset.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience on Squirrel or Micros and Tock an asset.
- Must be legal to work in Canada without restrictions or sponsorship
- Comfortable working a versatile schedule.

Pay: $30.00-$32.00 per hour
