**Position Description**
The Research Supply Centre is an important core service to the research community within the Sick

Kids Research Institute.

Located in the Peter Gilgan Centre for Research and Learning (PGCRL), the Research Supply Centre represents eighteen vendors and is home to an extensive number of items critical to the discovery that happens in the PGCRL.

We are currently recruiting for a Supply Centre Coordinator to support the operations of the facility.

In this key role, you will be involved in the day-to-day operations of the Supply Centre.

The Supply Centre Coordinator is responsible for coordinating order fulfillment, inventory management, customer service, reporting, and partner engagement activities within the Research Supply Centre.

The role ensures the efficient processing of orders, maintenance of accurate inventory and financial records, delivery of high-quality customer service, and support of initiatives that promote the effective use of Supply Centre services across the PGCRL.
**Here's What You'll Get to Do**
_Order Fulfillment & Customer Service_
·Process and fulfill orders through the Sick

Kids ordering system.
·Coordinate incoming orders and deliveries received throughout the day from Supply Chain and porter services.
·Inspect, verify, label, package, and prepare orders for delivery to researchers and hospital departments by porter staff.
·Monitor order status and follow up on backorders, shortages, discrepancies, and delivery issues.
·Respond to user inquiries relating to ordering procedures, product availability, delivery status, and related services.




·Maintain accurate records of order activity and delivery documentation.
_Inventory & Operations_
·Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.

Investigate and resolve discrepancies relating to quantity, pricing, damaged goods, or incomplete shipments.
·Perform physical inventory counts and inventory reconciliations to ensure stock accuracy.
·Receive, inspect, and record inventory transactions in accordance with establisher procedures.
·Maintain inventory, sales, and transaction database to support operational reporting and account reconciliation.
·Assist with the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Supply Centre operational systems and databases.
_Reporting & Data Analysis_
·Enter, validate, and analyze sales and transaction data to support accurate financial and accounts receivable reporting.
·Create detailed quarterly vendor sales and performance reports.
·Compile, validate, and monitor operational and financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
·Prepare ad hoc reports, analyses, and summaries for management and partners as required.
_Partner Engagement & Education_
·Provide training and support to researchers, laboratory staff, and other users on Supply Centre ordering processes and systems.
·Collaborate with internal partners and external vendors to resolve issues and improve service delivery.
·Support the planning and coordination of vendor educational events, product demonstrations, and promotional activities.
·Develop and distribute promotional materials, newsletters, website content, and other communications to support user engagement and use of the Supply Centre.
_Communications, Training, & Continuous Improvement_
·Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, customer service, inventory management, and reporting processes

·Perform other related duties as assigned.
**Here's What You'll Need**
·An undergraduate degree and experience in science or a health-related field would be an asset.
