We're hiring a Relief Full-Time Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse to support Community Mental Health Services. Serve clients through a recovery-focused approach in a agile team.
This role requires cooperative work with various health professionals to provide treatment and case management for individuals dealing with mental health and substance use issues. You’ll perform assessments, create treatment plans, and promote client self-management and informed decision-making while maintaining a respectful and therapeutic setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct mental health assessments and treatment planning
• Work with clients to develop individualized care strategies
• Administer treatment and monitor client progress




• Engage families in the recovery process to enhance support
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings for optimal care
Requirements:
• Degree from an accredited nursing or psychiatric nursing program
• Two years of recent experience in mental health care
• Current registration with the appropriate nursing body
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Effective communication and crisis intervention abilities
