Become a key part of the Mother Tree initiative at UBC as a Program Coordinator. You will support Indigenous-led forest stewardship and coordination of impactful research activities.
In this role, you will facilitate scheduling, engagement logistics, and communications for the Mother Tree project. Key responsibilities include event support, public inquiries, and collaboration with diverse stakeholders. This position demands robust organizational skills and attention to detail while fostering equitable and inclusive practices in your daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate scheduling for Mother Tree-related meetings and events
• Support logistics for public engagements and partnerships
• Draft communications and maintain outreach materials




• Manage inquiries and provide correspondence to stakeholders
• Maintain organized records and event files
Requirements:
• High school graduation plus related training and experience
• Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion practices
• Experience in communications support or related roles
• Ability to manage competing priorities under pressure
• Willingness to travel to remote research sites
Support UBC's Mother Tree initiative and engage with communities on vital environmental research.
