This summer co-op position offers students the chance to support Arborists in various arboricultural tasks. Responsibilities include assisting with tree removals, pruning, and operating specialized equipment under supervision. You will also engage in safety practices, interact with clients, and contribute to project success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in tree rigging and limb removal tasks
• Operate a chipper, stump grinder, and other equipment
• Conduct inspections and maintenance of tools and vehicles
• Engage in storm cleanup and tree transplanting
• Support safety measures and customer interactions
Requirements:
• Enrolled in Arboriculture or related program
• Experience in Horticulture or Landscaping preferred
• Certification in WHMIS 2015 and First Aid
• Class 5 Drivers Licence or commitment to obtain
