Quarter Cuts Ltd. recently opened a brand new facility in Vermilion, AB. We are looking to hire another meat wrapper to assist with our current employees. Meat Wrapper duties would include but not be limited to:

-brown wrapping and vacuum packing raw and cooked product

-labelling product with proper terminology

-measuring recipes, mixing recipes for sausage making

-controlling and monitoring smoking temperatures for cooked product

-dishwashing and sanitizing all equipment to meet AHS sanitation standards

-loading meat for customers

-grinding and stuffing meat, requires employee to lift up to 70lbs

-operate equipment including slicer, mixer, tenderizer, grinder, stuffer, smoker, vacuum sealer

The successful candidate MUST:

-maintain proper hygiene, wear appropriate clothing and provide personal tarantula grip footwear





-be punctual and reliable

-be willing to work flexible hours to keep up with the demand (may require longer hours during peak season)

-maintain the integrity of the business

-be a team player, must work well with others and listen well to feedback

- have reliable transportation

- be able to work in colder conditions

- follow all safety procedures in the building

This is a physically demanding job. Successful candidate must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 70lbs
