As a Support Worker, you will report directly to the Support Work Program Lead, assisting families in developing resilience through tailored support plans. Your responsibilities include assessing individual family needs while fostering a protected workplace that promotes emotional and psychological health for children. You will also enhance communication and conflict resolution within families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist youth in enhancing daily living skills as per their goals
• Engage with community resources for comprehensive family support
• Conduct assessments to identify family needs and goals
• Implement interventions to boost family dynamics and communication
• Provide essential in-home support and transportation services
Requirements:
• High school diploma or related experience
• Class 5F Driver’s license required
• Clean criminal record and child abuse registry checks
• Robust interpersonal and communication skills
• Possess an active cellular phone
