In this role, you will work under the Director of Health & Wellness, following a care plan while ensuring compliance with Extendicare's standards. Ideal candidates will have experience with seniors, strong communication skills, and a background in personal care duties. You will assist residents with hygiene, meal preparation, and emotional support, all while maintaining confidentiality and a clean setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Adhere to the individualized care plans directed by supervisors
• Assist residents with personal care and daily living activities




• Observe and report changes in residents' conditions
• Prepare nutritious meals and maintain clean settings
• Provide cognitive and emotional support to residents and families
Requirements:
• Graduate of Health Care Aide program or equivalent
• Experience in community health services for seniors
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification preferred
• Willing to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check
