Commencing August 24, 2026, this part time (.5 FTE) position focuses on fostering academic, social, and emotional growth in middle school learners. Our ideal candidate is collaborative and enthusiastic, engaging with a agile teaching team. We utilize the Cooperative Response framework to guide our teaching practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and implement lesson plans tailored to grade 5
• Work collaboratively with colleagues for student success
• Assess and support individual student needs




• Facilitate positive learning environments for all students
• Communicate with parents regarding student progress
Requirements:
• Current Alberta teaching certification
• Experience with middle school education preferred
• Effective relational skills with students and staff
• Must pass a recent Criminal Record check with vulnerable sector
• Robust commitment to a collaborative teaching philosophy
