Project Woodfibre LNG Project is located approximately 7 km west-southwest of Squamish, British Columbia. It involves the construction and operation of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facility on the previous Woodfibre pulp mill site, which would have a storage capacity of 250,000 m3 and would produce approximately 2.1 million tons per year of LNG.Woodfibre Management Ltd. is a privately held Canadian company based in Vancouver and a subsidiary of Pacific Energy Corporation Limited.Position The Project Engineer is an integral part of Woodfibre LNG 's dynamic team. Reporting to the Head of Engineering Support, this position is responsible for establishing and executing the sustaining capital project delivery approach for the operating facility, ensuring facility modifications are safely planned, engineered, constructed, and handed back to Operations. Projects at Woodfibre LNG are complex, multi‐disciplinary modifications to an operating facility, and require close integration with Operations, Maintenance, HSSE, and Turnaround planning. This role is expected to provide experienced leadership to ensure these projects are executed with strong operational awareness, technical integrity, and minimal impact to ongoing operations.Key Responsibilities Develop and implement a fit‐for‐purpose sustaining capital project delivery framework, including project stages, decision points, roles & responsibilities, and required documentationDefine clear expectations for how projects are initiated, scoped, approved, executed,



and handed back to OperationsConduct/manage field surveys to verify existing infrastructure and ensure new designs integrate properly with legacy systemsLead projects from concept development through detailed engineering, construction, commissioning, and close‐outManage project scope, schedule, quality, cost, and risk in line with approved authorizationsCoordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities in an operating facility environmentManage and oversee external engineering contractors, vendors, and construction resourcesWork closely with Operations, Maintenance, HSSE, Turnaround and Regulatory teams to plan and execute work safely and efficiently, and SIMOPS as requiredEnsure operational readiness, maintainability, and operability are embedded into project design and executionSupport effective handover of completed projects, including documentation, training, and operational acceptanceSupport the integration of the Management of Change process with Projects Engineering processProvide clear, concise updates to leadership on brownfield project status, risks,



and required decisionsCapture lessons learned from brownfield project execution and embed improvements into project delivery practicesContribute to the ongoing development of engineering support and operational integration processesRequirements 10+ years of experience in hydrocarbon facilities (LNG, oil & gas, petrochemical, refining, or similar heavy industrial environments)Proven experience executing sustaining capital/ brownfield projects at operating facilitiesStrong understanding of the interfaces between projects, operations, maintenance, and turnaroundsExperience working within formal change management and technical approval processesDemonstrated ability to lead complex, cross‐functional scopes in live operating environmentsStrong contractor management and execution experienceDemonstrated ability to develop or improve project management processesAdditional Requirements Bachelor's degree in engineering with P Eng designation or eligibility with EGBCExcellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skillsStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent projectsSound judgment in risk‐based, operational decision‐making environmentsExperience with project and document management tools (e.G., SharePoint, MS Office Suite)Must be legally entitled to work in CanadaThe position is based in Squamish, BC (Project Site), with an initial stay period at the Vancouver Office in and a visit to the Site Project as requiredOnly qualified candidates legally entitled to work in Canada will be contacted.Woodfibre Management Ltd. is an equal prospect employer.Thank you in advance for your interest!Benefits Salary range: CAD 100,000 - 125,000 /yr#J-18808-Ljbffr
