Candidates can apply for either Utilities Operator I or II roles, depending on their qualifications and EOCP certifications. Your responsibilities will include operating and maintaining essential utility services while following safety guidelines. Engage in routine maintenance and inspections to ensure compliance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate water and wastewater management systems
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections
• Support operation of drainage and street lighting
• Ensure safety compliance in all tasks
• Participate in rotational on-call responsibilities
Requirements:
• Diploma in Water/Wastewater Management
• EOCP certification in relevant areas
• 1–5 years of municipal experience
• Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence required
• WHMIS and Level I First Aid certification
