As part of the kitchen team, your primary responsibility is to keep the kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly during busy service periods. You must be able to follow Ajisen’s standardized processes to ensure high food quality and consistency.
Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish area and kitchen
- Take out garbage and recycling
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors
- Assist with basic food prep when needed
- Support kitchen team during busy periods
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
Requirements
Experience
- Able to work in a fast-paced setting
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience is an asset, but not required
