The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is seeking a Clinical Resource Nurse to coordinate care for surgical patients under anesthesia. This full time, in-person position involves hands-on clinical nursing for pre-, intra-, and post-operative procedures. Collaborating closely with the Anesthesia Department, the CRN ensures comprehensive assessments and supports the surgical team while also leading educational efforts for nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess patients' anesthesia risk and prepare for procedures
• Assist anesthesiologists during surgeries and monitor patients
• Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments,



including medical history reviews
• Manage supply maintenance and equipment procurement
• Provide training and in-service education for staff
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of Anesthesia or ICU nursing experience
• Bachelor of Nursing Degree preferred
• Current CRNM registration and BCLS certification required
• Solid IV establishment and invasive monitoring skills
