This role entails operating the Belong Ottawa delivery van under the guidance of the Kitchen Services Supervisor. Your duties will include timely delivery, vehicle maintenance, and collaboration with staff across multiple sites. By ensuring a smooth flow of resources, you contribute directly to enhancing the well-being of vulnerable individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive safely between service locations, loading and unloading goods
• Ensure the delivery van remains clean and maintained
• Keep accurate logs of deliveries and schedules
• Sort and store incoming donations appropriately
• Help maintain clean operational areas at drop-in sites
Requirements:
• Clean Ontario Class G driver’s license
• Proven experience driving in urban environments
• Robust organizational and time management skills
• Effective communication with diverse clients
• Capability to handle and lift diverse weights
