As a Registered Nurse reporting to the Director of Health and Wellness, your primary role involves providing direct care and ensuring compliance with Extendicare standards. You’ll be involved in resident assessments, care planning, and medication administration. With a focus on enhancing resident well-being, you'll work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and participate in care conferences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct resident care assessments and manage documentation
• Order and administer medications per regulatory standards




• Supervise medication practices of unregulated care providers
• Coordinate care assignment for the nursing team
• Address and manage significant changes in resident conditions
Requirements:
• Current Registered Nurse certification in the applicable province
• Experience in gerontology and long-term care settings
• Solid communication and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Recent Vulnerable Position Screening required
