In this role at Vanier, you will enhance client engagement activities across the London Middlesex Child and Youth Mental Health sector. Your expertise in peer support and project coordination will help parents navigate the complex mental health system. Key interactions will include conducting outreach, facilitating support groups, and collaborating with community stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide one-on-one and group peer support to parents
• Coordinate and lead community engagement activities
• Liaise with parent groups for effective information sharing
• Write reports and proposals for funding prospects
• Gather and analyze feedback to improve client services
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in social services preferred
• Two years of experience with children or adults
• Robust organizational and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Knowledge of Ontario’s mental health services system
