As a vital member of the Physiotherapy Services team, you will support registered therapists by facilitating mobility training, conducting activities of daily living (ADL) retraining, and managing therapy modalities. Key Responsibilities:
• Assist therapists with mobility training and client transfers
• Implement ADL retraining per occupational therapist recommendations
• Collect data for assessment and reassessment processes
• Administer treatment modalities as directed
• Observe, document, and report client responses to treatments
Requirements:
• Graduate from an accredited two-year PTA/OTA program
• CPO and COTO certification necessary
• Minimum three months clinical experience required
• Familiarity with MS Word and patient registration systems
• CPR certification and gentle persuasive approach training preferred
Support client independence and rehabilitation goals as a Physiotherapy Assistant.
