Become a Produce Quality Control Inspector at Gambles Group of Companies in Toronto, ON. Your role will involve inspecting fresh produce, ensuring compliance with CFIA standards to uphold quality.
This position reports directly to the Operations Manager and is critical in managing quality assessments throughout the supply chain. You will predominantly work at the Dwight Avenue facility while occasionally visiting the Ontario Food Terminal. We are looking for someone who can manage a adaptable work schedule, including early morning starts, to meet the demands of quality control.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform thorough inspections of incoming and outgoing produce
• Maintain detailed quality reporting for inventory




• Follow up on items that need quality assessment
• Provide support to the Ripening team as necessary
• Manage CFIA inspections and paperwork
Requirements:
• Educational background in food science or agriculture
• Knowledge of CFIA grading and produce standards
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs in a warehouse workplace
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools
