As a hands-on technologist, you will operate under the guidance of the Director of Correlation Engineering. Your responsibility is to optimize and maintain the RBC Security Information Event Management platform, ensuring its operational effectiveness. Collaborate closely with the Global Security team to enhance RBC's security posture against evolving threats.

Key Responsibilities:



• Provide expert guidance on the SIEM and Splunk functionalities • Create effective correlation rules for security alerts • Tune and maintain SIEM systems to enhance reliability • Analyze security context alerts and relevant log sources • Develop and manage data pipelines and routing rules

Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in technology-related field or 3 years relevant experience • Minimum 5 years' experience in Splunk administration • Expertise in Splunk queries and dashboards development • Solid proficiency with Syslog and cloud technologies • 3+ years in data pipeline configuration with Cribl
