Penske is seeking an experienced Diesel Truck Technician/Mechanic II for its South London location. This role is for those currently enrolled as an apprentice and offers hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing truck systems. Key responsibilities include maintaining clutches, electrical and hydraulic systems, and conducting preventative maintenance with qualified support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles
• Identify parts required for equipment repairs
• Road test vehicles to ensure proper functioning
• Maintain a clean and protected work workplace
Requirements:
• 2+ years of tractor trailer maintenance experience
• Enrollment in an apprentice program
• Current driver's license class G or class 5
• Proficient with shop tools
• Ability to lift up to 45kg regularly
