Take charge of aquatic safety and operations as a Senior Guard. Play a critical role in maintaining a protected swimming workplace while supervising staff and managing facility operations.
Reporting directly to the Recreation Manager, the Senior Guard position is essential for ensuring a friendly and secure atmosphere in the aquatic center. You will support junior lifeguards, monitor pool activity, and manage maintenance tasks to uphold established safety protocols and cleanliness standards in the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee junior lifeguards and front desk operations
• Execute lifeguarding and safety monitoring duties
• Document incidents and administer first aid as needed




• Ensure facility cleanliness and compliance with safety regulations
• Provide guidance and training for aquatic staff
Requirements:
• At least 18 years old
• Up-to-date Standard First Aid and CPR C certification
• Lifesaving Instructor and National Lifeguard Certificate required
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a lifeguard
• Familiarity with pool operations and safety standards
Lead a proactive approach to aquatic safety at the facility for the benefit of community patrons.
