About Us:
Touhenboku Ramen is a popular Toronto-based ramen shop known for its authentic Japanese flavours, house-made noodles, and warm, welcoming service. We’re looking for reliable, hardworking, and passionate kitchen staff to join our Queen Street location.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients and assist with food prep (cutting, portioning, marinating, etc.)
- Cook and assemble ramen dishes and side items according to company standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations
- Wash dishes and ensure all kitchen tools are properly sanitized
- Follow food safety procedures and hygiene standards
- Support chefs and team during busy service hours
- Receive and store deliveries properly
- Perform opening, closing,
and cleaning duties as required
Qualifications:
- Kitchen experience preferred but not required (training provided)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude, team player, and strong work ethic
- Able to lift 25–40 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Punctual and dependable
- Japanese or Chinese speaking
