Overview
I am seeking a dedicated and skilled B-train Driver. Sleeper truck position, Monday to Friday. Mainly running between Castlegar and Vernon, but not limited to. Driver can be Vernon or Kelowna based. Other type of shift may be available as well.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while transporting goods. A successful Truck Driver will demonstrate excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate truck and trailer to transport goods to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling of materials.




- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding routes and schedules.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
- Perform basic maintenance on vehicles, including minor repairs as needed.

Qualifications

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record.
- Basic automotive repair skills are a plus for maintaining vehicle performance.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $400.00-$580.00 per day
